Reframing Legal

In 2015, I was a senior litigation associate at a maritime firm in Miami, Fla. On the outside, everything looked great but inside something didn't feel right. I was following the traditional path of a legal career, but knew there was more to law than practicing inside a firm.

Around that same time, I began noticing new tools—legal software and early AI—quietly changing how legal work was done. That's when the realization hit: the entire legal industry would be changed by technology and you could build a meaningful career inside it.

In 2016, I took a risk and moved to New York City, leaving behind family, friends, and certainty — from beach to a basement apartment in Bushwick.

For nearly two years, nothing worked. Doors stayed closed, money ran low, and doubt was constant. It turned out changing cities wasn't enough. I had to change how I saw myself. I had to reframe how I thought about my legal career.

Fast forward ten years, it's 2026 and I'm a legal tech executive helping fast-growing legal tech companies grow. More importantly though, internally, I've walked the path from practicing lawyer to working at the intersection of law, business, and technology.

I started reframe.lawyer to help lawyers build future-proof careers in legal tech & AI by giving them the resources, community, and clarity I never had.
